The brewed cup Chocolate cherry notes combine here with a lemony undertone, layered sweetness and baking spice. The cooling cup has a brisk acidity, and reveals a lovely balance between sweet and bitter. From an elevation above 1600 meters in the northwest corner of Burundi, this fully washed Bourbon varietal is complex and malleable. I'm excited to discover all it can do with different roasting approaches!
Somewhat poetically, this coffee is a park bench reverie.

We sourced this coffee for $4.30, which is 3.55x the market price at the time we bought it.
