This is our 53rd coffee.
We shipped it on May 14, 2018.
The brewed cup This week is the fourth and final iteration of this floral, shade grown coffee from Nelcy Clavijo's tiny farm in the Tolimo region of Colombia. Roasting this coffee has been such a pleasure because of the way it responds to subtle changes to heat and airflow. Pursuing one set of flavor features sometimes diminishes another set and the interplay is a wonder all its own. The sweet mango and hibiscus notes remain and tucked beneath is a soothing vanilla.
Somewhat poetically, this coffee is the dream of a fairer earth.
